On Break

As of now I'm taking a ME break and will weigh my options. I'll still be around but it's hard to spend hours on end working on a project for the community with the strange response I've received. Many seem enthused but no one actually wants to do any work. It causes one to pause.

The ironic thing is that we have a only few more specs to sort out, then everything would just about be done. I've finally reached the precipice and I'm just too worn out to continue at the ate I've been going. So, as of right now I'm going to focus on myself and my family and afterward we'll see if continuing the current concept of Allegory is where I want to be.

We've been working hard, just for you!

We've been very busy, wrapping up quite a bit of work! At the moment we're encouraging/recommending that those who are interested submit their stuff so that we can finish compiling our training day attendee list.

For those who would like a bit more of an explanation as to how our Freelancer process works.

Here is a quick run down:

First, download the application for your skills and they goes as follows:

Artisan Application: Animation, Cartoon, Furniture Carpentry, Drafter, Floral Artist, Fashion Designer, Graphic Artist, Hand Craftsman, Illustrator, Interior Designer, Jewelry, Artistic Landscape, Marketer, Metal Crafting, Photographer, Personal Stylist, Printer, Video, Web Design

Sound Application: Bands, Disc Jockey, Studio Musician

Literature/Writer Application: different personal/professional styles have wide variations in terms of application. If you need we can offer help to figure out what you may excel in.

Freelancer Agent Application: this is a complex position, 2 parts sales, 1 part manager/mediator. If you need further explanation, please download the application and read the cover letter for clarification. If you are still confused, please contact Lynn.

Sound Agent Application: this is similar to the Freelancer Agent position though the difference in departments and basic agent to sound freelancers structure is different. For any questions after you've read the cover letter, please e-mail Rob if you have any other questions.

Secondly, turn all of your paperwork and we'll contact your references and other contacts.

Third, we'll contact you if need be and then let you know as soon as you're cleared. After that you'll need to meet with us to finish any paperwork.

Fourth, we will contact you for the training date and after you've attended the day of training you'll be cleared to make/accept bids through Allegory Concepts.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! WE NEED STAFF!

Greetings and happy holidays!!! The New Year is upon us and we are well on our way to getting Allegory up and running, but WE NEED DESIGNERS!!! I'm looking for two awesome people who have great ideas that he or she can convey on the computer... BUT HE OR SHE CANNOT DEPEND ON COMPUTER ALONE!!! Of course i would appreciate drawing skills, photography is a must, and a great attitude that shows peers that you like to work where you work.... YES, its a slightly specific list, but i know there are people out there :)

Finding the rest of our Staff!

We're trying to find the rest of our staff, so if you may be interested, then please contact me and let me know! Even if you don't think you are qualified and you are just interested in working with us, e-mail us and we'll see where you may fit!

Also, I posted our Artist and Musician Paperwork, although we still need to post the 'ditty' sample for musicians. For those who want the 'ditty' please contact us. Although those who want to do the Forms they need to contact us to start the deadline time!

Wyoming's First Annual Rock n' Roll Bazaar

We'll be at the Wyoming's First Annual Rock n' Roll Bazaar this Saturday from 1pm until possibly the end of everything! We'll have freelancer information an we'll be there for any possible questions!
